User-Generated Content (UGC) Release
By submitting any content (including but not limited to photos, videos, reviews, text, or other media) to Gatekeeper Off-Road (“GK Off-Road,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms:
1. Grant of Rights
You hereby grant Gatekeeper Off-Road, its affiliates, partners, licensees, successors, and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your submitted content in any format or media, whether now known or developed in the future.
This includes, but is not limited to, use in:
Website content
Product pages
Social media
Email marketing
Paid advertisements
Print and promotional materials
(This mirrors the standard “broad license” language used by brands like Mickey Thompson)
2. Compensation
You understand and agree that:
You will not receive compensation, royalties, or payment for the use of your content
Gatekeeper Off-Road is not required to provide credit or attribution, but may do so at its discretion
3. Ownership & Permissions
By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
You own all rights to the content, or have obtained all necessary permissions
The content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights
Any individuals shown in the content have consented to its use
4. Waiver of Approval
You waive any right to:
Inspect or approve how your content is used
Approve any edits, modifications, or derivative works
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gatekeeper Off-Road from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
Breach of this agreement
Unauthorized use of third-party content
Any legal disputes related to your submission
6. Content Removal
Gatekeeper Off-Road reserves the right to:
Remove or stop using any content at any time, for any reason
Refuse to use submitted content at its sole discretion
7. FTC & Disclosure Compliance
If your content includes endorsements, reviews, or promotional statements, you agree to comply with applicable laws and guidelines, including disclosure of any material relationship with Gatekeeper Off-Road (e.g., free products, sponsorships), as required by the Federal Trade Commission.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting content to Gatekeeper Off-Road (including tagging @GatekeeperOffRoad, using branded hashtags, or sending content directly), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this User-Generated Content Release.
