When I originally installed my Auxbeam control box I crafted a makeshift mount out of misc. metal pieces. My makeshift mount worked but it made getting into the fuse panel difficult, it also did not have an angle (tilt) to it to allow for potential water to roll off instead of pooling on the control box. The Gatekeeper control box mount solved the challenges in that it moved the control box to a place that allows access to the fuses, and it has a slight angle/tilt to it to keep water from pooling. It was super easy to install, the powder coat seems good quality. I recommend this without hesitation.

Perfect mounting solution!
The quality of this bracket makes it well worth the price. It's precision appears to be laser or water jet cut and came powder coated in black. It fit perfectly with plenty of room for wire routing. This relocates your switch panel up against the firewall instead of over the battery which is where most people end up mounting their control box. That frees up space for a snorkle or easier access to auxiliary wiring. I would definitely buy this again and will recommend it to other Jeep owners for their switch panel control box mounting.

After my first review they gave me a call and sent the hardware necessary to mount this to a non rubicon model. I just got it mounted and it seems great. I will note that if you have a 35x12.5 or larger spare tire mounted in the stock location you will probably need to trim the back side of the skid a little. I did this with a cut off wheel for my dad’s gladiator. If you have a 35x11.5 or smaller spare it shouldn’t be necessary. I will give this 5 stars because of great customer service. Thanks
