Picked up one of these to mount my 8-gang Auxbeam and it works well. My only complaint is you definitely need to remove the engine cover (on the 3.6 at least). You could trim it, but in reality you'd have to pretty much mutilate it to cut enough to make it fit. Then you'd have a mutilated cover if you ever wanted to change things in the future. I don't see how making the bracket any smaller would eliminate encroaching on the engine cover, so they seem to have gone all-in making it roomy and sturdy, which it certainly is. If you're OK running w/o an engine cover this is a great mounting solution. It puts everything close to the battery & fuse box, allows you to run shorter wires, and keeps the crowded engine bay nice and neat. The two bolts running along the top plate come out easily and the angle the bracket hangs down on keeps it from interfering with the hood headliner, and if any water does come in, should allow it to drain down and not pool. This is a solid solution.

I was researching for a JLU front bumper, found the switch panel mount by looking at their other products. The mount is casted from heavy duty steel so there will not be any sort of unexpected bending,the universal drill holes line up for an easy install. Contact them directly if you are in a rush to receive the mount ASAP.
